Welcome to Br. Birkeland AS’ whistleblowing channel. The whistleblowing channel is open to all employees affiliated with the following entities:

The whistleblowing channel is also open to external parties, such as suppliers and business partners associated with the Br. Birkeland Group.
This whistleblowing channel gives everyone an opportunity to report censurable conditions related to the above-mentioned entities. “Censurable conditions” are understood as conditions that are in contrary to legal rules, written ethical guidelines (Code of Conduct) of Br. Birkeland AS and the additional entities mentioned above, or generally accepted ethical norms in the society, as well as conditions that may have a negative impact on fundamental human rights and decent working conditions at Br. Birkeland AS or any of the above-mentioned entities, or in our value chain.
As a whistleblower, we would underline the importance of being in good faith regarding the content of your report. Please be reminded that matters concerning customer complaints or conditions solely concerning an employee’s own working relationship, such as complaining or dissatisfaction related to individual aspects of the employment, are not considered whistleblowing. However, if you are in doubt, we nevertheless encourage you to voice your concern.

When reporting through the whistleblowing channel, you may choose to whether report verbally (by uploading a voice message) or in writing. As an employee, you should report your concern in accordance with our whistleblowing guidelines set out in our Code of Conduct.
This whistleblowing channel is NOT an emergency service.
Please note that this whistleblowing channel is not an emergency service, and that it should not be used as an emergency service or to report on emergencies involving an immediate threat to life, health or property. The whistleblowing channel is not amenable to immediate response or handling. If you need help in emergency situations, please contact public emergency services.
Anonymity
To ensure anonymity, the external whistleblowing channel – IntegrityLog – is provided by an independent third party. This whistleblowing channel is secure, encrypted and password protected. You do not need to provide your identity unless you wish to do so.
How to notify and follow your whistleblowing case
To report the notification by e-mail, you can send an e-mail to info@brbi.no with the subject line “NOTIFICATION OF CENSURABLE CONDITIONS”.
Alternatively, you can report through the external whistleblowing channel, by filling in the online form here: https://brbi.integrity.complylog.com/.
When you have completed the online form, you will receive a code that you must remember to be able to log in, and follow your case further and communicate with us through the secure inbox. You can choose whether you wish to provide your identity and contact information or whether you wish to remain anonymous. In any case, we will investigate your notice.
Please note that we may need to collect additional information in order to investigate your notice. In this case, we will contact you if you have provided your contact details or send you questions through the secure inbox. You log into your inbox using the code you received when you submitted a notification. We encourage you to log in regularly to follow your case. It may be that our case officers need further information and that it is necessary to be able to act quickly in order to follow up the case.
How Br. Birkeland AS follows up on your notification
All cases that are reported, either by e-mail or via the external whistleblowing channel, will be received and handled by the Chief of Operations. Upon receipt of the notification, the Chief of Operations will assess whether the notification is covered by the scope of whistleblowing legislation, and whether the concern should be investigated further. The Chief of Operations will make use of legal assistance if necessary.
Privacy and Data Collection
The digital whistleblowing channel, IntegrityLog, is provided by Euronext Corporate Services Sweden AB (Euronext). When using IntegrityLog, IP addresses will not be recorded nor does the system use cookies. However, if you use a PC connected to Br. Birkeland AS or one of the other entities mentioned above, it may be possible to see that you have visited the website of the digital whistleblowing channel from the internet log. If you do not want this to be visible, use a PC that is not connected to one of the above entities internet.
All communication and storage of personal data is encrypted to prevent information from going astray or getting into the hands of unauthorized personnel.
As a whistleblower, you have a right to know what personal data is stored about you in this whistleblowing channel. Such a request must be submitted in writing to Euronext by email: gdpr@complylog.com or to Br. Birkeland by e-mail info@brbi.no Please use the subject line “ACCESS TO PERSONAL DATA – WHISTLEBLOWING CHANNEL”. In order for us to process your request, please also provide us with your contact information.
